sequence of importing extension in ThingWorx 8.4

Hi,

Is there any sequence to import extension in ThingWorx 8.4 with Postgres installation?

(For eg: First we need to import, 1) ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.2.2-00-extension-dependencies

2) ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.2.2-00-extension)

Is there any sequence in 8.4?

Thanks in advance,

Shalini V.

Hi @svisveswaraiya

One thing I overlooked when I first read this post.  You must install ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps 8.4.x if running ThingWorx 8.4.x.  The order of import will be:

  • Remote Access Extension
  • Manufacturing Apps 8.4.x extension dependencies
  • Manufacturing Apps 8.4.x extension

Please let us know if you have any issues.

Regards.

Hello Shalini,

Thank you for posting to the ThingWorx Developer Community.

Per the Import section on page 7 of the ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps Setup and Configuration Guide. The "ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.2.2-00-extension-dependencies" should be imported before "ThingWorx-Manufacturing-Apps-8.2.2-00-extension".

Hi @svisveswaraiya

Prior to installing ThingWorx Mfg Apps extension, you will need to import the ThingWorx Remote Access Extension.  If can be found here:
