Add Progress Information in TWXA long running jobs

It would be great to see progress information on long running jobs in Thingworx Analytics.

Often one works with big data sets and has long running jobs. For some, it's hard to make an estimate, when they will be finished, but currently the user is totally left in the dark if a job runs one minute, one hour or one day.

Must not be necessarily in the UI, in writing it into the would be good enough as a  first step.

Besides the psychological effect it also provides the information that the current jobs is not stuck or hung up, but still making progress.

Thanks for the improvement idea.  While we can see the benefit of providing an indication of estimated time, there are not consistent and reliable methods to estimate the remaining time on long running jobs across our different algorithms.  At this time, we are not planning on implementing this improvement.  The best information we can provide is with the status of the Job: WAITING, INPROCESS, COMPLETED, FAILED.

I understand it's difficult to impossible to estimate ETA with the algorithms used.

It would help though already if there was a counter going up with i.e. number of iterations, or when one learner has finished.

Just so the user knows something is still happening and process didn't get stuck. Something that "moves" to show it's alive.
