Composer entity sorting as configuration (e. g. in user preferences)

Hello everyone,

I already submitted a case here but was forwarded to this idea page.

My issue: Thingworx Composer is always sorting entities by Date Modified, for alphabetical order I can use the column header or the highlighted button.

The issue here is that Thingworx always resets my selection as soon as I open an entity. From my point of view alphabetical order is more convenient most of the time, I find the desired entities much quicker. So at the moment I am forced to hit the button every time I am searching for something.

My idea: Make this configurable per user, e. g. in user preferences. This could look like this:

Of course this could be enhanced to also take any other sorting option into account.

If user preferences is not the right location I will be fine with it, too. As long as I have a permanent alphabetical order in the end I do not really care about the way to get there.

Currently, when you sort a particular column and open an entity or switch to a different view, and come back, the sorting on the column persists. ThingWorx doesn't reset your sorting.

I noticed this is not the case in Release 9.3.5-b1258. Has this been changed? This is again quite annoying to manually change the sorting every time.
