We would like the capability to create/embed test cases against ThingWorx services, there is a similar functionality in SalesForce for Apex.
Ideally capability would be BDD by design to simplify test case creation and maintenance.
Agreed. A built-in BDD solution would be very useful for validating that the solution meets the user's needs.

We have an EDC example for automated testing with ThingWorx. Also our design time environment which is underway will better allow these use cases.
