According to PTC Support, "For security purposes, data is stored in binary."
The Entity universal export offers control for handling sensitive data. Why can't this control be offered for data export? If we have a small amount of data we need to export to our SCM, along with our XML Entities, binary format is clearly undesirable. A text format, such XML or JSON is much preferred.
Of course, symmetric import capability would also be needed.
