This is a minor one, but it would be really nice if we could disable the numeric entry widget like other input widgets.

 

The ability to use the numeric widget gets limited when needing a read only mashup without doing some trickery and unfortunately the styling doesn't follow along.

I agree with you, as I would like to read only changed based on the user, I'm not sure if this can be achieved.

You mentioned "some trickery" is possible to share ?

I also need the function and would be interested in the "trickery".

 

Further it would be interesting if there is a specific reason for the "Numeric Entry" widget not able to be "Disabled" because all other input fields are able to.

My workaround is to use a "Text Field" which you can disable and bind a "Expression" with a Regular Expresssion to it which assures that the string is in the correct format (e.g. 12.55). After that you can cast the String to  a "Number" or better said float in another "Expression". All done in the mashup builder.

It's realy not nice, but it was helpful in my use case.
