Dropdown support inside Grid widget

Hello Team,

There could be multiple scenarios we wanted to show dropdown widget inside Grid widget. Take a case, User wanted to upload multiple files as a first step, uploaded file names will be displayed in a grid with editable mode and wanted to textboxes, date time widget and drop down widget. But we somehow able use text box and datetime widget inside Grid widget but not with Dropdown widget. If you give solution for this need then lots of developer life would be easy and customer would be happy. Because of this limitation we end up in collection widget which has performance issue if we bind more than 20 records.

Any thoughts which future grid it will be a part of? We are on TWX 9.3.1 now and I dont see this feature in 9.3.1 release.

Hi @SM_9848287  - Thanks for following up. We have this functionality for grid and enhancements for the collection widget on our roadmap. We can notify you here when both are released, as we cannot provide a specific release at this time.

Hello @RachelMc, will this enhancement also include a way to produce a dropdown within the "add/edit" functionality of the grid widget?

Because there is no way of having a dropdown in this edit function, a lot of mashups have to be built with manual dropdowns and add/edit functions.

Hello @RachelMc I would also appreciate if we would have this functionality to use a dropdown in the Edit oder Add functionalities because It is always a mass to always checkback in the database if the entry is allowed, or exists, or whatever...if we can predefine what he is able to choose it would make life easier.
