This request is coming from https://thingworx.jira.com/browse/PSPT-68865 . As PTC Community is the right place to raise enhancement request, so moving this request to here for further tracking purpose.
Current Data Filter widget only supports filtering data by manually entering values in textbox.
While customer hopes that widget could support selecting values from a dropdown list to improve the user experience.
E.g: When customer wants to filter by username field, then he hopes Data Filter widget could have a dropdown list with the username values, such as: user1, user2, user3... so that user could quickly select the username he wants without even remember the username. It would be even better we we can combine the user input and dropdown list, E.g: User could manually enter values on top of the selection list and the dropdown list would dynamically shows the matching results in the list.
