Signals and Profiles offer a split screen, so when you select a signal (or profile), you can see the details in the bottom part of the screen. Model view does not offer this option. Therefore, when a user wants to view a model via View, the mashup changes and shows only the selected model's details.
Then problem is when he wants to view another model, there is no "back" or "close" option, he has to reopen the model lsit by clicking "Model" in the menu. This triggers a full reload of the model list, so the user has not only to wait for the list to load, also the then selected page is always the first, so when the models of interest are not on the first page, the user has to search for the model again.
To make this more consistent with the other pages, and not interrupt the user's workflow, I suggest to keep the models list in a split view, maybe collapsible, avoiding the reload. As alternative, when in a model detail, the model list could just be made invisible, with a close button in the model detail reopening the model list.
