Currently we have to provide the CA/Intermediate Certs explicitly to the Agent in a .pem file, in a completely undocumented fashion.

 

In a .NET edge environment it would be advantageous for the edge to simply look in the Windows Trust Store to see which CA's are trusted. This would make certificate management far simpler and more secure, rather than duplicating the work that Microsoft already do to push latest Root/CA certs in Windows updates.

It would be great if this feature is implemented as a capability to reference Windows Trust Store by .NET SDK for certificate validation.

This would make certificate management far simpler, reduce maintenance effort and more secure.
