Software Content Management: package access control also by organizational unit

It is currently possible to specify access control for deployment packages by selecting user groups that should have view&deploy permissions. E.g. Imagine a package which is only released for the US market. In this case we would need a separate user group for that. Our users are assigned to an organization/organizational unit representing the geographical region instead. So being able to specify a organizational unit for package access control would be a nice feature.

There are some provisions to restrict access to packages, we have to investigate if and how this could be implemented. A different approach might be to build specific filters or leverage property dependencies (instruction based SCM) to actively control deployment targets (provide a failsafe if a visibility mistake is made).
