1. What version of Thingworx are you currently running?
ThingWorx .Net SDK 5.8.3


2. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.
.net SDK on .net Core can not run on other operating systems then Windows. (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS297004?language=en&posno=2&q=.net%20SDK%20Core&source=searc...)

3. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
We need to develop expensive and complex work-around solution to connect Edge solutions running on Azure IoT Edge that need to connect to ThingWorx using AlwaysOn (and the remote thing concept).

Please elaborate on this use case.  Generally speaking people use Azure IOT Edge -> Azure IOT Hub -> ThingWorx Azure IOT Hub Connector -> ThingWorx as a data path when using Azure IOT.  We have not considered deploying .NET SDK ThingWorx agent inside Azure IOT Edge and doing Always ON back to ThingWorx directly.
