Hi Team,

 

Lot of times, TWX platform shuts down due to license expiration without any warnings.

 

Only when i check the Application log files from repository i come to know that this is due to License expiration.

 

Is there any Notification mechanism available as a default which could notify the user or at least the administrator ( through mail or status display on the platform) regarding the possible expiration of license in a month or day?

 

This will save some time in debugging.

Do you mean this feature? The notification showed up a few days ago at my thingworx.

There are two notification methods to help notify users of an expiring license. 1. In ThingWorx Composer, a banner is displayed when within the last 30 days is a license expiring. 2. PTC sends a renewal notification to an email address on a customer account.
