In Thingworx Navigate when configuring the search results you have a choice of 'Saved Search' and 'Saved Filter'. Both of these have different functionalities that could be used independently.

 

'Saved Search' will filter out any results that are returned but not filter out any data in 'Part Structure' or 'Item List'.

'Saved Filter' will filter out data in 'Part Structure' but not out of results.

It would be great for these to both be independent such that the 'Saved Search' controls the results of a search and 'Saved Filter' is applied to the view in the 'Part Structure' and 'Item List'.
