I would like to be able to have a user returned to the FormLogin page when their session idle time causes them to automatically log out. 

 

I think it would be a good idea to have one of the following implemented:

  1. a checkbox on the either the Organization's page or the User's page to choose whether or not to have Thingworx automatically navigate to the FormLogin page when their session times out
  2. the ability to retrieve a user's current idle session time

+1 We have to implement this "automatic logout" logic for almost every project via autorefresh in the Master + custom authenticators. The end result is rather ugly, and it would definitely be useful to have it OOTB.

PTC strongly recommends that customers use Single Sign-On (SSO) to authenticate to ThingWorx, and will thus focus R&D efforts on enhancing that capability.
