Vuforia Chalk Network Troubleshooting

Network Connectivity:

  • Run below test to determine if there is an issue with your network blocking access to resources Chalk needs
  • Ensure that below ports are open:
    • HTTPS: 443
    • UDP: 10,000 - 60,000
      •  Some corporate networks may block UDP in their network configuration, which may prohibit use of Chalk within that network.

 

Call Quality:

  •  2.8 Mbps + is recommended for best quality
  • At or below 0.5Mbps may result in poor call quality
    • Remote users should enable 'low bandwidth mode' within call
      • This enables remote users to still view high quality images with a slight delay from the Local user
  • Ensure that devices used for Chalk are supported
