It’s never been easier to navigate and work in Vuforia Editor
Our user community has been providing great feedback about how they use and navigate Vuforia Editor. We’ve taken the best ideas to improve the speed and efficiency of navigation so you can quickly get more work done.
The interface has been improved and features a great new tabbed view that provides several navigation benefits. You can now upload and browse images and video assets without needing to create a new procedure or click into an existing procedure. You can also continue to work and navigate around Vuforia Editor while uploading new captures, images, and videos in the background.
The new navigation, coupled with usability improvements, will allow you to multitask with more efficiency as your library of procedures, captures, images, and videos grow.
Editing videos and enhancing images with more control
Vuforia Expert Capture continues to make the process of editing assets more robust and more precise.
Preview video snip before clip creation
Vuforia Editor allows you to develop precise video segments by creating new video clips from existing video captures. We’ve enhanced the speed and accuracy of creating video clips by enabling you to preview a clip before committing to your selection.
When you select the video clipping tool, a green frame is created that indicates the start and end of the video clip. You can move the frame location indicator to where you want to start your preview. Then press the space bar or the play button on the preview play controls to watch the clipped section preview. When you are satisfied that the correct section is selected for clipping, click the create button.
Free-hand drawing annotations for images
In the Vuforia Editor 1.1.7 release, we added several annotation tools to help bring attention and clarity to import aspects within images. We’ve now extended this capability to include freehand drawing tools to make the annotation toolset even more powerful and flexible.
