- Improved User Experience
Vuforia Capture now makes it easier and more intuitive for subject matter experts to capture critical workflows and procedures. The capture procedures can then be users to create on-the-job training content and work instructions with Vuforia Expert Capture.

- Enhanced Location Mapping in Procedures: Azure Spatial Anchors is now Vuforia Area Targets
- Vuforia Capture has been upgraded and now leverages Vuforia Area Target technology instead of Azure Spatial Anchors to define locations within a space where a step needs to be performed.
- Vuforia Area Target technology is seamlessly integrated into the Capture app, making it easier for experts to document and scale knowledge across the workforce using procedures that contain location guidance; this allows experts to place instructions within the context of real-world environments.
- Benefits of location guidance powered by Vuforia Area Target technology:
- Allows experts to place locations markers to define where a step needs to take place within the physical environment. This can help provide further clarification and guidance for new or redeployed employees.
- Proves support for location guidance during procedure playback in Vuforia Vantage on mobile devices.
- Allows experts to create location markers in offline and low-bandwidth environments.
- Provides tracking improvements specific to industrial environments.
- Vuforia Capture has been upgraded and now leverages Vuforia Area Target technology instead of Azure Spatial Anchors to define locations within a space where a step needs to be performed.
NOTE: Existing procedures that leverage Azure Spatial Anchors (ASA) must be updated to use Vuforia Area Target locations. This is required to view location guidance in Vuforia Vantage across devices. For information about remapping locations, see our Help Center.
