Upcoming Changes to Content Delivery Network (CDN)
To ensure uninterrupted access to Vuforia content—including images, videos, 3D models, and published procedures—all clients, including those using API integrations, must update their firewall settings in preparation for an upcoming change to our Content Delivery Network (CDN) by adding the following domains to their allowlist:
*.vuforia.com
atomiclioncms-cbadesg9e0fmaucz.a03.azurefd.net
atomiclioncmseu-a0htf5hbfkaxfff4.a03.azurefd.net
This update is required for all clients, including those using API integrations.
Vuforia Editor
Explanatory Text for Upload Images Button
The Upload Images button on the Step Check dashboard now includes explanatory text in the image upload dialog to clarify the purpose of custom image uploads.
Incomplete Capture Restrictions
Captures with incomplete uploads now have the INSERT STEPS and CREATE PROCEDURE buttons disabled to prevent premature use.
Browser Video Controls Enabled
Video playback now uses the browser’s default UI controls. This adds a secondary progress bar to the timeline, showing how much of the video is buffered.
Unit Selection Required for 3D Imports
When importing unit-less 3D models (for example, STL, OBJ), the Model Settings dialog now requires manual unit selection. The previous default of Meters has been removed to prevent incorrect configurations that can cause tracking instability and rendering issues.
Missing License Alert
If the current organization lacks a Vuforia Expert Capture license, a non-cancellable dialog prompts users to contact PTC Support.
Debug Data Filename Updated
The default name for exported debug data now ends with _model-data.zip, replacing the previous generic naming convention.
Vuforia Vantage
Web

External API
/reports API Pagination Required
The all parameter has been removed from the /reports API. Pagination is now mandatory for retrieving long result lists. For more information, see the “Paginated Results” section in Make the API Call.
