100% error cad converter failed

I have installed thingworx studio trial version. When i am trying to add creo assembly files , step files , i am getting error "100% error cad converter failed" . Please help me to fix it.

I wonder if what you're seeing is similar to the issue discussed in this post:

Were you running the CAD Optimizer at all?
