Hello community,
I wonder if Vuforia Studio is supported on Apple hardware (for example a MAC mini) with an M4 CPU. Are there any known issues?
Thank you.
Hello @pjahn ,
the issue was reported to PTC R&D as Jira Ticket /Request VTS-2348. There seem that the team is trying to reproduce that - the first step to find such configuration for the test.
They asked when somebody who has the platform to provide that info:
can you ask a customer who has that platform to start Studio from Terminal and send us any error log they might get?
open "/Applications/Vuforia Studio.app"
thanks, BR
Every time when the user tries to start Studio only one line is added to the log:
Documentation about supported MacOS version is confusing:

to the Jira ticket reported to that issue: VTS-2348
Feedback from development:
PTC has not ported Vuforia Studio to the ARM architecture /not yet/ Planed is implmentation in future release . For this a new STUD ticket should be created from R&D. Currently the STUD ticket is not available yet

Current workaround is to install and use Rosetta on that Plattform: (info from dev about the steps)
If you need to install Rosetta on Mac - Apple Support
So found that now a development ticket STUD-10334 is reported as Enchantement and is addressed to the Vuforia development team. The current status of the ticket is under development
