The majority of the topics we see in our forums are questions – be they questions about product, code, or core concepts. Many times, a user will search for a similar question before posting in addition to the system suggesting similar topics as you create the subject of your topic. Search is helpful in finding not only similar questions but questions that also have correct answers/accepted solutions.
When reading the replies to any of your topics, you will see the option to “Accept as Solution” on all replies.
We recommend that you try to remember to mark any reply that answered your question by clicking on this button. Sometimes it does mean returning to the community to do so, but this best practice helps everyone in the community find answers in a faster and more efficient manner.
What happens when you accept a reply as the solution to your topic?
- The original message is marked as solved
- The reply is marked as a solution
- The topic is elevated in search results
- Community members who read your topic know for sure which answer is the correct solution
