Hello,
I am going through the raspberry pi tutorial (Thingworx Studio Tutorials and FAQs/Advanced/Raspberry Pi Tutorial).
I have created a new thing in composer and assigned properties to it.
But when I try to connect a 3D label in thingworx studio I cant see my things in the External data searched entities.
In fact, the list of entities is completely different from what I can see in the thingworx composer. For example there is the car1 thing from the previous tutorial which I do not see in the composer.
From the tutorials I've seen here I would think that the composer and the studio are automatically connected, but that is not my case.
How do I configure thingworx studio to access entities from the composer?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Robert Pastor In your case, as you are a Trial user, by default the ThingWorx Studio is connected to the PTC hosted Experience Service and (PTC hosted) ThingWorx Platform. Technically, you are expected to get IoT data from the corresponding ThingWorx Platform (i.e., PTC hosted one) - to access your ThingWorx platform, visit https://xxxxxxx.studio-trial.thingworx.io:8443/Thingworx/
And from there, you can create entities to stream data into Studio. Well if you are specific about your personal instance, you can try 'Federation' to create a connection between personal and hosted ThingWorx platform.
Are you using the https://********.**.vuforia.io:8443/Thingworx/Composer/index.html or your personal ThingWorx instance.
ThingWorx Experience Server and ThingWorx are hosted by PTC and are already connected.
I am using http://34.228.137.126/Thingworx/Composer/index.html for the composer, so I guess that's my personal instance?
In thingworx studio settings the Default Experience Service URL is set to https://qwzpoqdd.studio-trial.thingworx.io/
Should I change it to something different?

What should be on the xxxxxxx? I'm facing the same issue.
IP?
Experience server?
Both are not working for me.
