Error while accessing a project.

Hello

Some errors are occurred when I access a project by thingworx view app.

The errors are not only access speed but also connecting to server.

I checked Thingworx Composer Logs.

This is a list of errors.

Do you have any solution for this problem?

Thanks.

Hi Yoo hwan,

Are you facing this issue on Application Preview too?

Thanks,

Ankit Gupta

No

It is good in a Preview window.

However when the accessing to server is not stable, 'save', 'preview' and 'publish' are not stable too.

'Save' and 'Publish' are not completed, 'Preview' doesn't show anything.

Sorry.

I tried to view it in the preview now, same errors are occurred

I have another question.

My TWX server has 'es-public-access'  user.

But I try to do below thing.

What means number 4?

I can understand Administrative Console.

Hi Yoo hwan, The ThingWorx data should be accessible in ThingWorx studio. Are you able to access the ThingWorx data by clicking on the External data in ThingWorx Studio?

Were any changes made to users or Appkey in ThingWorx connected to the ThingWorx Studio?

Does Appkey named "es-public-access" exist in your system?

Also, does an Appkey pointing to the ThingWorx User (Same as ThingWorx Studio user) exist in the system.

In point 4; you are required to open ThingWorx Experience Server Administrative console and add ThingWorx App key details so that ThingWorx Studio can access ThingWorx using that App key.

Do let me know in case any further queries.

I hope it helps.

Thanks,

Ankit Gupta

Thanks Gupta

FIrst of all, I can access the External data.

Seeing throgh the twx view app, Some data can be seen properly, but the app is not able to bring other data.

Errors as above are accumulated continuously while it shows proper value.

So I think it is not impossible to access to twx.

'Preview' function is very slow.

Although it takes tens of minutes, it will work.

Second, es-public-access user exists  in my system.

Some errors are occurred by es-public-access  user.

I will show you the log picture some hours later.

Thanks.

Hi

Don't you have any solution Gupta?

I guess..It seems strange since it was updated to version 1.9.

Can I downgrade to low version?

Hi Yoo hwan,

I am still analyzing this issue. I will request a restart of your ThingWorx instance connected to your Experience service to see if it helps.

Thanks,

Ankit Gupta

Hi Yoo hwan,

Please send me your Experience service URl in a personnel mail so that I can request a instance restart on your behalf.

Thanks,

Ankit Gupta

Hello, Gupta

I am curious about relationship with a 'Thing' and 'Thing creator'.

There are Fan1 and Fan2 Things made automatically in Thingworx Composer when I installed Thingworx studio.

The Things were made by an Administrator user.

And I logged in with 'patc' account and created some Things.

For public publish in thingworx studio, (↑)

when I linked an external data created with an Administrator account, the above error did not occur.

However when other things created with a patc account were linked, errors were brought.

For Requires Authentication publish, (↑)

Seeing through the Thingworx view app, I was required to login and I did.

Then all data could be seen properly and any error was not accumulated.

So, I wonder if the user who created the Thing affects it.

And I wanna see this page (https://help.vuforia.io/studio/#page/ThingWorx_Studio%2FAnonymousAccess.html%23).

Can I do it?

Thanks.

Hi Yoo hwan,

Thank you for the details. I will check these details on my Server.

In general; Adminstrator user in ThingWorx have access to all entities in ThingWorx. But to make sure that Administrator user has access to your entities; you can open the entities and provide visibility and runtime permission to the Administrator user explicitly.

It also makes sense to provide these permission to the 'es-public-access' user. I suppose this user does not have access to your entities.

I will test/analyze this more and will get back to you with an update soon.

Thanks,

Ankit Gupta

Do let me know if you require any help in setting up the Permissions.

Hi Yoo hwan, Did you get a chance to check the permission for the entities? Does 'es-public-access' user have visibility and runtime permission for the entities you have created in ThingWorx?

Hi Gupta

'es-public-access' user has a permission for the Thing deservedly.

'es-public-access' user is included in the Development Organization.

I checked Thingworx studio logs.

However I authorized the 'es-public-access' user to get client application key.

Now, Errors as below are accumulated continuously in Thingworx composer.

Also preview in Thingworx studio does not function properly either.

Thanks.
