Extension crashes Vuforia Studio

Hello,

i'm trying to create my own 2D-widgets as an extension for my company.

I got OCTO_Studio_extensions and followed this simple guide.

My problem is, as soon i add any widget from the extension i will be stuck on a saving loop.

I can't preview anymore and even deleting the new widget wont help. still invinite saving loop.

Is this intended to prevent us from adding extensions or what's wrong with that feature?

Hi @AS_10340651 ,

I do not think that this should be something intended to prevent working. Possibly the extension developed in the past are not compatible with the current Studio Version - so this is a point we need to check.

When you install the Octo extensions (https://github.com/steveghee/OCTO_Studio_extensions and https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS321903) is there a problem or you have the issue first with your own developed extension? Please, let me know if we have a general issue with the OCTO extension so I will ask R&D to check if there is some compatibility issue.

First i had a gerneral problem with octo extension. But this was easy to fix => switch to a newer project. Then my own extension was on the infinite saving loop.

Now both working - I don't know what fixed my issue because i tried alot.

Even tho i used the newest version of vuforia studio i reinstalled it and started a new experience from scratch. Then i tried the extensions (the octo and my own) and both worked, 

I will later test it again on an existing project, but for now that is enough for me.
