Publishing failed: 413 Request Entity Too Large

Hi everyone,

i want to publish a HoloLense Experience with some Thingworx Data, but i get this error in the studio.log file:

Why does it occur? 68MB shouldn't be too large for publishing?

Thank you very much!

Hello,

It seems an error return by an nginx server.

So, I have a question :

  •   Where is located the Vuforia Experience Service ?
    • Is it a trial instance or an instance hosted at PTC Cloud or an on-Premise ?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Best regards,

Samuel

It is an on Premise Server

Hello,

Try to publish again and look in Vuforia Experience Service log file.

  • If an error is thrown, it is an issue in Vuforia Experience Service
  • If no error or no verbose related to this Project, it is needed to check if an Nginx server is redirecting HTTP requests between Vuforia Studio to Vuforia Experience Service.
  • If it is correct, check log files in Nginx.

Best regards,

Samuel

Hello,

sorry, but where do I find the Vuforia Experience Service log file?

Hello,

It depends how Vuforia Experience Service has been setup on the server.

  1. If it rans manually in a console or a terminal, all verbose is displayed in this window
  2. If it is a service, a redirection might be have been setup to redirect all verbose into a text file.

So, the questions are :

  • Does the Vuforia Experience Service is running with a service?
  • In which Operating System (Windows or Linux) ?

Best regards,

Samuel

Okey, I will talk to the person, who is responsible for the server and if I know anything more I will come back to you.

Thanks for your help!
