I think it is not easy to answer that question without performing a long check on the Technical Support Article database.
So , the best will be when somebody who had an issue with that version could report it there. I my self updated to that version when it was released and updated then to the next version when the 9.23 was released and that is mostly the recommendation from PTC R&D team - to use always the latest version. I think at the current time the 9.22 does not support all new features e.g. on Advanced Model Target etc.
so what you can do is to login to https://www.ptc.com/en/support
and select as product Vuforia Studio and search for 9.22
first you search for Vuforia Studio and then when the first selection is displayed then on the right side select
then search for 9.22 what it will display. Please, pay attention that that will display only issue where explicit is documented that 9.22 is affected
