Vuforia - Kepserverex connection

Hello, I need to read tag values in Vuforia from KEPServerEX. Can it only be done from Thingworx or is there another option?

You can use the rest-server to get data from kepserver.

But you need to refresh the request manually to get the updates.

Thanks for your answer. Can it be done in Vuforia Studio? Or is another installation required?

You can do http requests from studio. You need to enable rest in kW, you may need iot-gateway license to do so.

An issue I can see is the security issue, kepware runs with a connection to ot-network and letting phones/ipads connect to that is normally a no-no.
