Videos can be added to posts in two ways:
Attach a video to a post
- Use the "Choose Files" at the bottom left of the New Message page to attach files - including video files - to your new post.
- Videos attached to posts will display as attachments below the post content once the post has been submitted.
- The following formats are supported for attaching files to posts: ics,jpg,gif,png,pdf,ppt,pptx,xls,xlsx,doc,docx,txt,prt,asm,drw,zip,7z,pro,sup,sym,ui,mcd,mcdx,xmcd,xmcdz,xmct,mcd,xmcdz,xmcd,mcd,xmctz,xmct,mct,mctx,xml,rar,dat,csv,avi,mpg,mp4,bmp,tif,arf,wmv,log
Insert a video
- Use the rich text editor to upload a video to your post. Videos inserted in this way will display within the post content as a a clickable video.
- The following formats are supported for inserting videos directly into posts: wmv, avi, mov, moov, mpg, mpeg, m2t, m2v, vob, flv, mp4, mpg4, mkv, asf, m4v, m2p, 3gp, 3g2, f4v, mp3, m4a, wma, aac, mxf, wav, gxf, fcp, dv, aif, pek, and cfa
