Bridge PLM / ERP

Dear all,

I'm actualy start a new manufacturing project, and I whant transfere PLM information's to ERP, and I need some help to finish corectly my project.

Can you share me your feedback concerning the communication between PLM and ERP?

PTC has a tool to do this ? if yes do you know the name?

Or, if PTC haven't tools, and if I need external source, can you give me which bridge (or integrator) have you used to do this?
How far have you send the informations (CAD / Article / BOM / MBOM / Process Plans / Instructions etc...)?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, PTC has a solution called ESI ( Enterprise Systems Integration ) which supports Windchill and SAP, and Oracle Application integration only.

it's ready to use solution.

and another one WEBridge also a good solution that will support windchill and any other ERPs ( SAP ECC6, SAP S4Hana, Oracle Apps, SAP B1  etc) integration.

regards

Hi Sreeni,

Thanks for your feedback.

What is the difference between your solution and PTC's solution ?

Thanks

Hi,

No comparison between them.

it's like one is RAIL and another one is CAR. still, both are used for travel only.

but, still so much difference. I hope you understand.

Same question here: Windchill-ERP integration  where I proposed the ESB (unlike to point-to-point link or "bridge"): the 4CAD LINK 2.0
