Hi all,
we have three CAD-Worker running. With one feeding queue and then one "working queue" for each worker. Sometimes, all three CAD-Worker are "blocked" with big assemblies/drawings (>1000 parts) for partially more than one hour (especially due to long transfer, download and thumbnail generation times). These long times alone are not nice and need to be optimized. But we also see a huge delay in the feeding queue resulting in hundreds of items waiting for the big assemblies to be finished.
Is there any way to organize the queues a bit smarter? E.g. handling small assys and mono parts with a higher prio than big assemblies so they aren't stuck in the queue?
Does this need customization or can this be configured directly within Windchill?

Thanks! Didn't find that one. As a summary I see for us these steps to go with:
Of course not all at once, but one after the other after evaluating the last one we did. Unfortunate that there is no "simple" solution out of the box for smarter queue-handling etc.
