Integration of Altium and Windchill

Hello everyone, I am seeking help in regards of integration of Altium to windchill as my Bachelor Thesis. I started with the REST interface to windchill and tried using some basic tasks like creating parts, documents etc. using Windchill REST services UI and through Postman. The problem is now i want to create assemblies and ECAD data from Altium and I have no success.

I would be thankful if someone can recommend me some resources or hint or have some guidance regarding this. I want to mention here that I already have access to Windchill REST service documentation and i am taking guidance from there. I am beginner and seeking for valuable suggestions.

@MT_11904685 here is a summary.

Workgroup manager for ECAD has been retired.

Now, all ECADs should integrate with Windchill through REST Services.

The integration should use as much as possible the new OData framework, RESTEasy is legacy and no longer supported, however, PTC still does offer some specific endpoints in the legacy framework that manage eCAD Documents, they are only open and supported for PTC Partners.

Hi @MT_11904685 ,

Windchill REST Services(WRS) does not support managing contents of CAD Documents via REST Endpoints.

You can refer to Help Center Topic: PTC CAD Document Management Domain

The domain does not support upload/download of Primary Content Files of CAD Documents which needs Windchill Workgroup Manager.
