- In Mentor Graphics xDxDesigner and xPCB Layout we have concurrent designing functionality which allows multiple users to work on the design simultaneously. However the Windchill Workgroup Manager for ECAD which is integrated with Mentor Graphics does not support concurrent designing. Only one user is allowed to check out and work on the design which does not meet the real world scenario. WGM with support for concurrent designing would be of real benefit as it improves productivity and would meet the needs of the ECAD engineers.
