Wanted to change bulk "Change Task Template" to new sub type

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.1.0

We want the change all the change Task template to different Change Task Sub Type, is there any API or code do we have to convert the Sub Type?

You have to do it manually, There is no API that support the template type change.

1. Create new template as a subtype of a change task.

2. Disable the root template.

Also you can check an existing tool. 

There is a utility that can be used to change a object type but, it works just for all objects of the type.
