Today,  the preference “Do not allow checkout of non-latest iterations”disables actions for non-latest object of particular Revision.  However, if a user is in a Creo session, with an *earlier* revision in the workspace, PDMLink allows the *checkout* and modify and check in of the object, even though the REVISION is not the latest.

The setting should NOT allow CHECKOUT OF all earlier ITERATIONS REGARDLESS of revision. A separate preference can be allowed for the instances where a user actually wants to checkout earlier iterations.
