Ability to exclude Attachments during Windchill Save-As

Save-As a .dwg without including Attachments. Give the option to not include Attachments when doing a Save-As, either at time of save as, or as a Windchill Preference, or as a Site/Org Level Setting.

4. What is the use case for your organization?
We attach DXFs to our to some of our parts for manufacturing to use. When Engineering does a Save-As on a drawing the attached DXF is saved along with the Save-As. Engineering has to manually delete that attachment, else there is an incorrect DXF attached to a drawing, which opens the opportunity for manufacturing to make the wrong part.

Thank you for submitting this idea! I have the same issue with PDF attachments of CAD drawings. It is a constant maintenance issue to run a report to find all the items with multiple attachments and then manually remove the outdated attachments.

Like others, we use Save As frequently to spin off a derivative design and the Save As process brings all the old content forward to the new items.

This is clearly a miss in Windchill. We had a customization done for Save-As and Revise actions to remove the migrated attachments from the CAD drawings since users would always forget to remove the old PDF (newly created drw have a representation instead) and thus create erroneous data.
