Today, you can attach a note to a part (on the part master), or on a part to part relationship (a BOM note) that is used ONLY for that usage.
However, if you have a substitute part in a bill of material, you cannot attach a note to that substitution link, only to the original part.
Would like to be able to add notes to the substitution linkage.
