Add Move functionality in ProjectLink

Currently the move functionality is not available in Projects.  You can cut & paste but there is no object collector for this so moving larger assemblies become difficult to address.  When working with large data sets and a large design team it is not effecient to work only in one Project folder.

I agree 100%. PTC should have a comprehensive move command available for all object types in ProjectLink.

Was there any discussion of this capability at the PTC/USER TC meetings last month? Its really difficult to do CAD data management in the context of a project without a Move command. You can cut/paste, but there's no collector for CAD documents in a project, so you have to hunt and peck or have a really good naming convention to find all the related components.

Students working on FIRST teams only have access to ProjectLink, so they cannot use PDMLink as a work-around. Usually the designs are small enough, but when you bring in STEP gearboxes and other OEM models, they tend to make a mess in Windchill since it adopts the sending system's names.

I can't believe that this is still an outstanding issue. You should have the same functionalities in ProjectLink as there is in PDMLink.

Have the same need for Move in ProjectLink. Still not possible in WC 11.1!!! (Surprising...) Is there any plan to implement this feature OOTB in ProjectLink in a future release?
