Add Paste functionality to Workspace

When working on an Implementation Task for a Change Notice, you can copy the resulting objects to your clipboard.  When in a workspace you should be able to paste them to that workspace.

OR

Automate the creation of a workspace and the placement of the CN resulting objects into it.

We added "Add to Workspace" functionality within the resulting objects table on Change Task page. But indeed this should be OOTB feature. For our users, its very natural to work on objects in resulting table.

We are working on Add to Workspace from the Affected/Resulting tables.  This is currently planeed for 10.2 M020

It will be great that there's also the "reverse" feature.  To be able to copy from the workspace , to the resulting change table.

As Users in most of cases, revise in the workspace and then complete the Change Activity task

That is good news indeed.  I have a couple of guys I work with that will be very happy with that enhancement.   They have been wanting something like that since we started on Windchill 8.0

The roundtrip is something we would like to improve in the future as well - to be able to identify the change to add/update any new or updated data to easily as part of the checkin process so you don't have to chase it down after.

good idea to have this feature during checkin action .

How do you think implement this ?... with a kind of drop down list , containing related "affected" change objects ?

But I insist for the copy paste in the Worskpace.    Working with 2 browser windows, one with the workspace , one with the Change Activity resulting pane, and copy paste from one to the other is an appreciate productive way to work for our KUsers.

Our users too would love to see copy/paste functionality added to workspaces.  Like previously indicated, our users would benifit time wise from copying the work they completed in the workspace to the resulting objects of a change task.
