When you import a Spreadsheet, you create an iteration but you can't add a comment to explain why you have done the iteration.
It should have the same process of check-out and check-in.
I'm just starting to look at importing from spread sheet to add a "cost" attribute Parts and think this idea is a must.
I'm thinking that if we have an attribute for cost and export a BoM to Excel we can create a costed BoM.
There could be another attribute that captures if the cost is known or an estimate.
Is anyone else doing anything similar?
Comments should be mandatory for any programmatic iterations. I know that the user can do an iteration "difference", but having a comment gives background explaining why it was changed.
