After editing a CR/CN the user should not get the question to Submit now/later

In PDMLink 10.0, 10.2 the user get the question if he/she wants to Submit the CR/CN now or later. Having selected Later in an earlier stage and Submit Now after editing makes the Submit CR/CN task that was created earlier redundant. However the task remains and if the user tries to complete it he/she gets error that the CR/CN is not in a valid state.

Sounds more like an implementation error than anything else. We have the Submit Now / Submit Later and it works just fine.

Having said that, it's possible to edit the workflow to remove the functionality.

The reason is that the user might want to continue editing and submit later.  We do not make the assumption in this case that one edit is sufficient to for this case. As Don mentioned you can remove the Submit Now/Later via configuration (See option 2):
