In PDM-Link 10.2 M030-CPS24 you can not add criteria to a collection query that would eliminate objects that belong to a branch point. Because PTC does not have a function to modify the branch point to reference the object you want the branch point to reference. A purge function trying to purge an object that belongs to a branch point completes with conflict. This status "Completed with conflict" causes time to be wasted reviewing the logs of the purge job just to find that an object trying to be purged belongs to a branch point which PTC does not allow to be deleted. I fully don't understand the value of these branch points. I have been using Intralink/PDM-Link since 1998 and have never needed to view this branch. It is not important for me to know which version.iteration the next revison/version came from. Please add criteria to collection query that would eliminate objects belonging to branch points.
