Configurable links are a very useful addition the Windchill however the restriction that enforces only a single link between common parent and child objects. The value it would add is where a relationship between two objects exists but their existence is unique based on the values of attributes between them.
To be able to create duplicate links, like is currently available on WTPartUsage links, would allow us to more easily replicate some of our product data definitions without customisations or workarounds.
