FTP is an insecure method of sending files.
With more and more cloud hosted solutions it is often required to send data via FTP.
The FTP DT is a great vehicle for sending PLM data downstream.
However FTP alone does not suffice and security standards really do require SFTP at the least.
Windchill ESI should support SFTP as well as FTP for Distribution Targets.
