When a new ProjectLink container is created with an EPP (default) template, users can no longer manually control the value of Project Status (R, Y, G), Status Description (text) or % Complete (integer). These values are all driven by the status of the activites in the EPP Plan. If the associated Plan is not used for the Project, the status is always reported as ?.
When a new ProjectLink container is created with a Classic (legacy) template, users can manually control the values of Project Status, Description and % Complete by going to the Details page, selecting Edit from the Actions menu and going to step 3 in the Edit Project wizard.
This capability should be added to EPP Projects for users who are not using the associated Plan and want to control and report these values to the project team and collect in a report without adding attributes to the Project definition.
