Allow promotion requests to be initiated from Workspaces in Creo

Using Windchill PDMLink, we can initiate promotion requests from Commonspace areas but not within workspaces.  We would like to be able to initiate promotion requests from workspaces, ideally selecting multiple files within that workspace.  In Commonspace, sometimes the files we want to select are in different folders and contexts and it is therefore inconvenient.

In 10.x we allow the addition of data from other locations using Paste and/or Search and add on the Promotion request.

In the future we are looking at making Promotion Request available on check in as it was in Intralink 3.x Check In (RTP)

Duplicate status is something, but I suggest rather to merge duplicate ideas in this way:

1. replace all comments to the most voted idea or first one

2. increase votes as a sume of all merged ideas

3. delete duplicates and left only the highest votes

Thanks for providing the duplicate links.

You have to unlink your links by right clicking on them or else the application doubles the link text and they don't work.
