Good request Domingo. I'm assuming you are referring specifically to the Windchill "structure" tab showing visualization and tree structure? Maybe the solution for PTC is to integrate the viewables (which can be simplified reps) published by the Windchill publisher for viewing in Creo View into the Windchill structure tab. The newer build of Creo View 2.0 at build M040 has autoload functionality for simplified reps(viewables) which only loads the tree structure and graphics associated with the simplified rep.
I'm glad I did a search for this prior to posting. I also need to display Simplified Reps within the Windchill structure tab. We have a band-aided method of external simplified reps within Windchill, but it would be more streamlined to have it as a pull down option within the Structure tab.
