Approve discrepancy in MAPSB

Approve discrepancy in MAPSB

Idea: Tool to approve the discrepancies in Reconciliation tool.

Case/background (WT 11.0 M030): Very often we have discrepancies between eBOM and mBOM that we are fully aware of and they are accepted in the business. If a manufacturing enginner approves it once, it should be saved and should not be recognized as discrepancy in MAPSB next time. E.g.: amount of grease in the assembly.
In the drawing it is said that the amount of grease should be 140-150g. In eBOM (Engineering view) amount of grease is 145g. In mBOM (Manufacturing view) amount of grease will be 150g*. It will be recognized as a discrepancy.

mapsb1.png*It can be the result of grease standard consumption used in our MRP and can vary among our plants (each plant has its own Manufacturing View).

Suggested solution: Extra columns (new object to collect this?) in Reconciliation tool:
- Comment field - user
- date - Conformance (attribute) - value list:     -> accepted (result will be that the discrepancy will be not displayed any more)     -> conditionally accepted (will be displayed next time and highlited to pay manufacturing engineer's attention)
This set of data should be versionalbe to follow the changes of the attributes' values.
The columns could be accesible via MAPSB and/or part page. If not - report from Query Builder will be sufficient.

mapsb2.pngJustification: Today the discrepancy is displayed every time and manufacturing engineer will spend some time analaysing this (although last time he/his forerunner has studied and accepted this). In this respect Reconciliation Assistance in today's shape is useless. People would rather export eBOM&mBOM to Excel spreadsheet, compare the structure and store their comments there and share via e-mail/save on public location.
