Assigning expression on a part usage or part occurrence is only available per object today. It would be much more efficient (especially for occurrences) if multiple line items can be chosen in a table and then the assigned choice is applied to all selected parts. Similar functionality is available today for managed variant specs in the new product family editor.assign_ecpression.jpg
