Batch Print - Printconfig.xml File

Please entertain the idea of allowing multiple printerconfig.xml files that can be used for certain users or groups.  Right now you allow one .xml file that all users are going to see the same printers in the batch print UI.  We have users all over the plant that print to different printers.  It would be nice to be able to configure the setup so user A would only see the printer they use and user B would see completely different printers.  It would also allow the auto selecting of printers based on format size to work for everyone.  Currently it works for only the department that has the printers that are listed first on the printerconfig.xml file.

I'd also like to have some documented API. I was able to figure out ability to use Batch Print to print a business object content (pdf on CAD Drawing). With API support other enterprise apps can be integrated as well with this functionality.

I like the idea of user preferences for printing. I think a single XML file to configure the printers basic settings is fine, but the fine control would ideally be done with preferences (My Settings >> Prefererences >> Printers)
